GRANT MANAGER Herman Byrne, 28-year-old manager of the new W. T. Grant store in Westland Plaza is one of the youngest managers in the Grant organization. He formerly was manager of the downtown Grant store.

He is married to Ruth Duncan of Hartsville, Tenn. and they have two daughters, two-year-old Yvonne and three-year-old Gail, and a five-months-old son, Marty. He attended David Lipscomb University, he did some farming and then joined the W. T. Grant organization.
